And, finally, a look back towards the patio from the south side of the backyard. There are eight beautiful crepe myrtles that are not in bloom yet; also the Sapphire Duranta, Irises and Star Jasmine have not bloomed. In a few months the backyard will be alive with color!

Actually, you can see a solitary flower on one of the Iris--talk about an early bloomer!
